Q&A
Q1. Is the English Speaking Course, Trinity GESE (Graded Examinations in Spoken English), all about speaking only?
The Trinity GESE Speaking Course focuses on spoken English. Through learning spoken English, children will see improvements in vocabulary and grammar as well. In addition, the course content is tailored to daily life, so it is practical and can enhance children’s confidence in expressing themselves in English.
Q2. How do I judge what level my child should take? Before advancing to the next level, how long should my child have studied?
Before the course starts, you can make an appointment of our complimentary English assessment to your children. Our teachers will suggest the appropriate level according to the child’s assessed ability. In general, a level can be completed in about half a year. As the learning content is more difficult in the more advanced stages, it may take longer to complete the corresponding course level.
Q3. If my child is beginning the Trinity GESE Course in the middle of the school term, will he or she lag behind other students in terms of progress?
This course is set around independent topics. Enrollment in the middle of the school term will pose no problem.
