P5-6 Exams Course

Course Info

Targeting Primary 5 and 6 students, this course is a good preparation for the Students’ Internal Assessment. The assessment, held from the second semester of Primary 5 to the first semester of Primary 6, has a great influence on students’ promotion to secondary school. Students will be able to increase their confidence through this preparation course, and therefore perform at their best.

Course Features

The duration of each session is 60 minutes, and students are required to complete the test paper in 45 minutes, while the instructor teaches them the necessary skills and scoring strategy. After that, the instructor will mark the test and analyse their performance, so that students can easily tackle different questions.

160-minute sessions: Sufficient time for students to absorb what they have learnt.
2Practice and analysis: Easier to master the skills with clear goals and analysis of key concepts.
3Answering techniques: Instructors will demonstrate the required skills for different types of problems to help students achieve higher scores.
4Diverse types of questions: A wide range of questions provided allows more comprehensive learning. There is no once-and-for-all strategy. Students can try and understand the various strategies during class time.
5Time management: Plan the use of time to adapt to the test format in order to ease tension and pressure.
6Large question bank: Questions are designed with reference to primary school papers in Hong Kong. The variety will strengthen students’ problem-solving skills.
7Tailored instructions: Explain difficult concepts and strengthen students’ individual weaknesses.
8Explanation of key concepts: Analyze important questions to dissect common mistakes to improve grades.
